About Thoughts Into Words

Thoughts Into Words is a publication that was started by me, Steven Craddock, in the fall of 2021 as a way for me to express my views and opinions on political, social, and cultural issues.

The corporate media often glosses over or outright ignores stories and events that are worthy of our attention, and even when they do report on the issues that are truly important, that reporting is often full of half-truths, propaganda, and sensationalism.

On the other side, many outlets, journalists, and commentators in the alternative media space also engage in deceitful or sensationalist tactics, which makes finding out the truth a arduous task.

My intention with Thoughts Into Words is to cut through the propaganda and to highlight some of the stories and events that are overlooked, misrepresented, or otherwise go underreported by the corporate media while also not engaging in the sensationalism and baseless conspiracy theorizing that all too often plagues alternative media.

Pure objective commentary is practically an impossibility, as everyone has their own thoughts, opinions, and biases on any given subject, but I do my best to make sure that Thoughts Into Words remains as objective as possible and is upfront about any biases that do come through in the content that is produced here.

Political, social, and cultural commentary is and always will be the majority of the content that is put out by this publication, but I’ve left room for the occasional poem, satirical piece, fictional short story, or any other form of creative writing that myself or any other writer associated with Thoughts Into Words wants to put onto this platform. Essentially, this publication is exactly what it’s called: Thoughts that are put into words.

If you’re tired of the lies, propaganda and sensationalist rhetoric that comes with far too many media outlets and political/social commentators, and if you enjoy various forms of creative writing, then Thoughts Into Words is the place for you.
