Growth, Change, and Gratitude
A thank you to all my subscribers and my plans for the future of this newsletter.
I’ve seen a significant increase in subscribers recently and I could not be more grateful. To all those who have subscribed over the last week or so, thanks for subscribing, I hope I don’t disappoint.
To those who have subscribed for a while now, thank you for your continued support.
Even before the recent increase in subscribers, I’ve been considering ways to expand what I do here at Thoughts Into Words. The bulk of my content will continue to be political/social commentary and analysis, but lately, I’ve felt compelled to attempt to do more with my writing.
That includes more creative forms of writing like satire or fictional short stories, as well as the occasional poem here and there. I also hope to post articles from guest writers every now and then, with the first such article potentially occurring within the next couple of months.
Currently, I post an article in this space about every other week, but if I’m able to consistently fit in these other forms of writing I’m hoping to be able to put content out at least once a week from now on.
I don’t intend to ever place my work behind a paywall, but if anyone feels like my writing is worth paying for, just know I greatly appreciate any paid subscriptions.
To kick off this expansion of Thoughts Into Words, I want to share a poem I randomly felt inspired to write the other day that fits the theme of this post: Growth and change. (I couldn’t tell you the last time I wrote a poem before this unless you count song lyrics.) I will share that poem in its own post.
Thanks again for the support. I hope you all enjoy this poem and my future attempts to expand my writing.

Steven, you are an excellent writer, and I have enjoyed and appreciated the content you've put out ever since I subscribed. Definitely one of my favorites on this platform. That being said, I very much look forward to what lies ahead in your writing.
